Hi Jin, I'm a Tusker Director. If you feel you have been wronged and one (or more) of us have broken our Code http://www.the-tuskers.info/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=63 (e.g. you requested a 1v1, one of us agreed and then the rest of us warped in) feel free to send me relevant chatlogs and I'll investigate it further.
However, at the moment it seems that you wanted a way out of a tight situation. If this is the case, I suggest asking for a 1v1 before the fight starts. Our pilots will occasionally accept them but always honor them if you're not willing to take on 4 of us at once.
P.S. Might want to carry more than T1 missiles - faction (Caldari) missile do 20% more damage. If you need any more help with your fittings, feel free to contact me ingame or any other Tusker. Best place to start would be our Public Channel - "The Tuskers Public Channel" where we discuss fittings as well as news etc. |

Transfer me 58 mill isk for my loss and I will consider the matter closed and acknowledge your corp mates acted honorably after the fact and the payment is a correction to an oversight on their behalf.
Your pilots warped into the belt where a 1vs1 was happening and I requested they not engage before they did so. They were 40-50 kms out so they had to time to honor the request. Either acknowledge they are cowards who can't handle a 1vs1 or pay my owed isk. Either of those choices will close the matter and your corp's honor, or lack there of it, will be acknowledged.
The link is working fine for me. However our forums are going through an upgrade, so that might have caused the issue. Try this link instead.
I am not against giving you 58M (should be less in any case due to insurance) if you can prove that an infraction of our Code occurred via chatlogs etc. Needless to say, if you can prove this, this will not be the only action taken.
As far as I am aware, our pilots warped in to assist their corpmate. Requesting that they not engage is a perfectly valid tactic, but as long as they didn't state that they would abide by it, I see no problem.
We do actually solo a fair bit. You can check this by perusing our killboard.
As for honor, we do not claim we are honorable. Instead, we claim (and have yet to be proven otherwise in this thread) that we follow through with what we say.
Another tip for you: if you want a "fair" fight, I suggest coming to Hevrice and asking for one. We have had a fair few pilots come here to fight us (mostly in frigates) and most of the time we accommodate them if they speak out, often down shipping to give them a "fair" fight. |

The link I provided should work. We do not say that we are are honorable as that is subjective. Many people such as yourself would argue that we are not honorable.
However, we do follow through with our word. If you can prove that a Tusker lied to you and not in obvious jest e.g. one of us said he wouldn't shoot you but he died, then we can go somewhere.
Until then, we'll keep going round in circles, with you claiming that we claim we are honorable and me saying that we are not honorable. |

Oh and if you want to find an established corporation that's one of our enemies, I can provide you with a list.
However I would suggest that you come after us yourself, it'll be more amusing for us. |

If you really want to fight us, come to Hevrice. We're always up for a good fight.
We haven't actually met yet judging by your losses. See you in Hevrice!
P.S. I was being serious about the list & about improving your Drake fitting. Joining our Public Channel would also give you free intel & our Vent server details before you plan your next move. |

Dunbar Hulan wrote:Anyone looking for a "Fair" fight in Eve has lost already. The objective isn't to have fair 1v1's, but to bring the muscle and dispatch the other guy or guys before his mates show up and not take any losses. In low sec (where I presume this "Chivalry " exists, ) the last thing I'd do is look on local and see 5/6 guys all in the same corp and expect a 1v1.
Having never really hung out in low, does this stuff happen on a regular basis? The offers for 1v1's? If so, then I could easily sit in somewhere like Sendaya and have the boys on the gate in Doril for example. And if I could do that then rest assured that there's probably a bunch of folks doing that already I bet. So I would just suck it up, take the loss and learn from it- Just my two cents.
There is more to Eve PvP than simply taking someone down before his gang arrives....you can take down his gang when they arrive to back him up \o/
Asking for 1v1s is fairly common, but then again plenty of people come to Hevrice in search of a good fight, mostly in frigates. Also, fostering a reputation of accepting 1v1s (even informally) by deliberately downshipping and telling other (Tuskers) to stay away helps. Most of the time though, another Tusker ends up landing just to see how the fight's going.
Most of those offering them are weekend warriors and don't want to deal with the hassle of Amamake and Heretics camping gates/bringing ECM for a single person etc..

I must be too used to null sec, Culture down here in Curse is a wee bit different . Anyway, good luck and all the best o7
Hm you make a valid point - all of your recent kills appear to feature a Falcon in your gang.
